16 CONSERVATIVE PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES CONFIRMED FOR FORUMS ON CONSTITUTION AND SUPREME COURT MODERATED BY ALAN WILSON

(COLUMBIA, S.C.) –The Conservative Leadership Project (CLP) announced today that sixteen (16) conservative presidential candidates have agreed to participate in a series of forums moderated by South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson focused on the constitution, potential U.S. Supreme Court vacancies, and the rule of law.

The forums will kick off with an hour-long conversation with former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee at 11a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 3rd in Winthrop University’s Richardson Ballroom in Rock Hill, S.C.

Over the past eight years, Americans have seen state attorneys general fight back against unprecedented unconstitutional overreach from the federal government. These forums will educate South Carolinians on the reality that the next president will appoint up to four individuals to the Supreme Court of the United States and will have the ability to work to repeal and replace controversial expansions of the federal government such as Obamacare, Dodd-Frank, various EPA regulations, and executive orders that overturn existing law such as the federal immigration law.

The following 16 candidates have confirmed their participation:

Gov. Jeb Bush

Dr. Ben Carson

Gov. Chris Christie

Sen. Ted Cruz
